Since we have this 1954 beauty in our company, we had the idea, or rather one of our plumbers had the idea, to produce this beauty in a scaled down version.

He chose 2 mm stainless steel sheet as the material, which he later regretted. Stainless steel is quite hard material for such delicate work and even the thickness of the material gave him a few wrinkles and blisters.

His  production time was indeed extended. After long hours, days and weeks, the shapes of this Pick Up gradually started to emerge from the sheet metal. These shapes had to be carefully machined, sanded and  polished. The wheels and headlights were made on a milling machine.  A “wooden” floor on the hull was also made, just like its bigger brother. On the small model you can also find handles, wipers, antenna, lights and speedometer. The weight of the little car speaks for itself, which is a nice 6kg.
