State: Completed project – Partial renovation

Many of you may have already seen the VW T2 “Folcik”, or even ordered a coffee from its owners, who travel with it to festivals all over the country. 

Every car needs major repairs at some point, and there comes a time when it needs to be put away for a while and fitted with new parts. The time for this T2 is now. In October, we disassembled it, prepared it for the frame off body repair and replacement of the rubber parts. Now preparations are underway to paint it and then coat it in the familiar red cafe with white polka dots. Then it’s just a matter of putting it back together and in early April 2023 we’ll be taking it out again to the places we all like to spend our free time.
